Fired Up Jewellery is the home of contemporary hand-crafted jewellery made by Bristol maker, Joanna Young (née Preston), using fused dichroic glass and Precious Metal Clay (PMC).

As each piece is individually handmade, it is totally unique and impossible to repeat (almost)! All findings are solid sterling silver or 18k gold plated - and fired PMC is fine (pure) silver.

November 2008
A wedding, new pieces and the Arts Trail

Congratulations to my old college friend Kate and her husband John who kicked off the month in fine style by getting hitched at Christchurch Priory. The truly soggy weather didn't stop us all having a great time celebrating!

My sights are now firmly set on other exciting events later this month - yes, the much-anticipated North Bristol Art Trail is nearly upon us (29-30 November)! I have been cutting glass and gluing my fingers together (I'm good at this really...) and generally preparing myself for what I hope will be a lively and well-attended event. For full details, check out our new website at www.northbristolartists.co.uk

If you can't make that, for a sneak preview, why not come to Ladies' Night at Henleaze Infant School on 20th November and get the chance to win a Fired Up creation in the raffle.

We are also having a preview of the Art Trail on Friday 28th November. Contact me if you'd like to come along or if you'd like a map of the trail.

In the meantime, don't hesitate to get in touch if you want to see my work at an alternative time.
